Satish Vayuvegula, MD, MS
For almost two decades, Satish Vayuvegula, MD, MS has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. He has mastered minimally invasive treatment techniques that relieve pain and restore quality of life for his patients. This includes ultra-sound guided foam sclerotherapy and thermal ablation.
Dr. Satish Vayuvegula’s primary focus is helping patients achieve the best outcomes with personalized treatment plans. He strives to provide a calm atmosphere that encourages conversation and instills trust. “Family and faith are my foundation. I carry this over to my patients as I try to treat every patient as if they were my family.”
Dr. Vayuvegula recognized the positive impact of compassionate physicians at a young age and knew his future was in medicine. He earned his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School in 1999, then completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals of Atlanta, Georgia. Soon after his residency, Dr. Vayuvegula was invited to train in venous techniques. After 19 years, he is still passionate about treating venous disease and educating patients on the life-changing benefits of treatment.
Not only is Dr. Vayuvegula a highly skilled and experienced varicose vein expert, but he is also a patient. After living with varicose veins throughout medical school, soon after beginning his training in venous disease, he underwent thermal ablation. He immediately experienced a dramatic improvement in his quality of life. He understands patients who suffer from venous disease, as well as the relief and joy of successful treatment.
When not treating patients, Dr. Vayuvegula loves spending time with his family, whether traveling or at home. In addition, he enjoys skiing, golf, tennis, and pickleball.
