What is Chronic Pelvic Pain?
The specialists at Precision Vascular understand that any chronic pain can be a frustrating and uncomfortable life-long condition. We want our patients to rest assured that their chronic pain may not have to last forever. Sometimes, chronic pelvic pain can be a symptom of pelvic congestion syndrome, pelvic varicose veins, or other vein conditions. That being said, we encourage all our patients with chronic pelvic pain to also see their primary care physician, as the underlying cause of their chronic pelvic pain may have other attributions outside of vein disease.

What Causes Chronic Pelvic Pain?
Chronic pelvic pain is a very general and vague condition, meaning there could be a variety of causes for your discomfort. More common reasons for your chronic pelvic pain may include urinary tract infections, pelvic congestion syndrome, pelvic varicose veins, and endometriosis or other female reproductive issues. Sometimes, however, chronic pelvic pain can simply be a result of the bones and joints in your body slowly starting to deteriorate with age. We encourage our patients to get diagnostic testing done with our Precision Vascular specialists in addition to diagnostic testing done with their primary care physician to find the underlying cause of their chronic pelvic pain.
