Dr. Karen McQuade is board certified in Vascular Surgery and treats diseases of the blood vessels. Her areas of expertise include diabetes complications, deep vein thrombosis, vascular malformations, varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease, complex limb salvage, dialysis access, venous disorders and vascular trauma.
Dr. McQuade received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in General Surgery, and then a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Her accreditations include certification by the American Board of Surgery, ACLS certification, and Vascular Interpretation Certification; as well as serving as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Before bringing her expertise in vascular surgery to Precision, Dr. McQuade was an attending surgeon with DFW Vascular Group and later, Texas Vascular Associates. She also taught vascular surgery to fellows at The Heart Hospital Baylor in Plano, Texas.
